Arcade Photoshoot

On the way back from New York I was lucky enough to join my fellow photographer and friend Mikayla Hansen (Give her a follow on instagram @mikcanclick) on a photoshoot with two models at a 24 hour bowling alley and arcade in Scranton PA (that is right the ELECTRIC CITY). This has probably been the most fun working with models I have ever had. Besides that the images turned out fantastic. I think some more shoots like this will be planned in the future.

New York road trip

On October 3rd Michael and I set off on a road trip to visit an internet friend of ours and help celebrate his wedding. A 9 hour drive and some beautiful scenery we arrived. While staying in Plattsburgh New York with our friend Ian and his wife Kristin we ate some amazing food and visited some even more amazing places. With Michael and I growing up and spend all or most of our lives in Delaware this gorgeous scenery of Mountains was completely awe inspiring. If it was possible we would have stopped every 10 minutes or so to shoot some more photography. While visiting we went to Montreal Canada, Vermont and locally explored parts of Plattsburgh and Peru New York. After spending just about a week there it was difficult to leave. Being around such beauty makes you think about just up and leaving.

Family Shoot

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to work with a wonderful family to get their family photos before one was stationed out of the country!

Port Mahon

Saturday morning I stayed up all night. Yes we all know I enjoy getting up early to see the sunrises but staying up all night was awful. All night long I was trying to find something to photograph as I love shooting at night but I do not get the opportunity nearly enough. About 3am I decided to just shoot some sunrise long exposures at Port Mahon outside of Little Creek. I arrived around 5:30am and set out for beautiful imagery. I left around 7am and went home to edit and I don’t believe I have ever been more satisfied with my landscape photography.

Otakon 2019

This was my second year attending Otakon in D.C. Every year my friends get a nice hotel room and invite me to go with them. I always use most of my time there to do photo shoots and get experience shooting cosplay photography. This year was no different and just like always, we have a blast!. If you have never been I would recommend going at least once in your lifetime.

1st annual Lenape Festival

I had the honor of attending the 1st annual Lenape Festival. Hosted by The Lenape Indian Tribe of Delaware. Nothing is better than learning from other cultures and that is just what I was able to experience. I was invited to attend by one of my co-workers and had a blast. Unfortunately, I was only able to go for a few hours on August 10th, but the event was from August 9th-10th. Friday night they had a band and heard nothing but incredible things about both days. I encourage everyone reading this to get out to one of their events and have fun and learn there are still indigenous people in Delaware!

Stormy OBX

One Tuesday while vacationing in the OBX which is where I am still currently at, a storm came through. Since storm chasing has always been a passion of mine I decided to take to the beach in order to capture this amazing ordeal. The storm came through as fast as they left. I grabbed my gear and jetted for the beach. When I arrived to the end of the walk and to the stairs that led to the sand I saw the amazing storm clouds pushing over the ocean and the Island.

Storm Chasing

While cooking some dinner on 7/12/2019 I noticed the sky started to darken. There was a storm brewing coming from the north. I am a huge fan of storms and love the rain. I turned off the stove burner right in the middle of cooking and ran into the living grabbed my camera and bag and jumped in my car. I flew down the road towards Bennetts Pier Beach which is only a few miles down the street from my house to set out on my storm adventure. Arriving at the beach I look up and see the amazing storm clouds rolling over the beach and ocean. I grabbed my tripod and camera and started shooting. After spending about 20 minutes on the beach shooting the sky started its torrential downpour and I ran off the beach back to my car. I stayed about 10 more minutes to enjoy the clouds move across the sky and went back home to edit. It was an amazing experience and came away with some amazing photos.
